I would call them more like 5.5 inches.

Are those pencil lights or driving? They seems way focused for driving, I was guessing pencil.

They looks cool, but I have 2 problems with them, 1st being that I really want them, but they're to deep to put them behind the grill where I would want my extra lights.

and the 2nd more serious problem is the blue LED's, they might not be street legal. I know that around here having blue or red lighting is a big no no:nono:, due to the fact that people might think your a cop, etc.

edit: could we see some pics with the normal lights and the halo's on?

You werer right. Tonight I got pulled over for them. I didn't get a ticket though:). He just told me that I could only have them on in parking lots, and privet property. So tomorrow I am changing them. Help me decied what color. It will be white or amber.

Paraphoe:

I dont know if they are pencil or driving.

Well they are almost in. I put white in. I got bigger leds so maybe they will be alot brighter. Will get pictures when it is back together.

I say change them to amber, and then wire them independently so that they are hooked up with your turn signals. Then the left will "blink" with the left signal, etc..,etc...,etc... I don't know if there is a law about extra turn signals or not.

Well to late. The whites are in. only problem is that when I was putting one of them back together I droped it and cracked the lense.

Those are with white.

whites def look good but that mite still be questionable to a cop... u could always tell him "theyre white" but they can always say "doesnt look like it"... if those r super white LEDs, they have a blue tint to them due to the color temp and the output... if u get "warm white" which u see on ebay sometimes has more of a yellowish tint to it but still looks fairly white... i would suggest 10mm white LEDs... i ordered a set of 265000mcd superwhite LEDs for my reverse lights that im excited for (9 per side)... if theyre bright and pretty white ill let u kno and ill post pics

Maybe it's the pictures (Pre-White Conversion), but those don't look any more blue then HID's. Can't wait to get a pair. They look very good. I like the idea of putting them on the same circuit as the turn indicators. That would be sweet.

r u planning on changing ur headlights as well? if u get clear housings and get silverstars it would be a great match... it would look exceptional with a set of 6000K-ish HIDs too... itll keep the whole white look and will add to the headlights

Haha, maybe some day but probably not soon. They look a lot more white in real life. For some reason the camera made them look blue.

i thought the cam made them look yellow but wutev haha... u can get a set of silverstars for about 40 bux at a local auto parts store... i think urs r 9004s or 9007s... not really sure but i kno its a dual filament bulb... if u get them, getting clear headlight housings def helps keep the light bright

OOO you were talking about the head lights not the halos.lol. Ya I might do that someday. Only thing is I think it is almost $200 for clear head and corner lights. Plus the $40 more for bulbs. Like I said maybe someday.

I picked up a pair off eBay for $150 total with shipping.
and I've seen some go for even less, but been booted off before I could place my bid (school internet blocks :thumbdwn:)
