Yes it is true. Someone down here has gone and done the deed. Everyone is fine, but the metal sure isn't:roll::roll:
it was an awesome end for end--so I give it a full 10 out of 10 on the scale

If you are planning on coming to the bbq tomorrow you will find out the details, until then, we are under the sheets on this one.

Not the turdle!

:(

Yeah spill it - and skip the periphrasis, pics would be even better ;)

I'm sure who ever it was is still in shock and probably doesn't want to talk about it just yet.

I know I wouldn't.

I'm glad no one was injured.

What a cawk-tease! Spill it, JT!

This is ****ty news though....Hope everyone is alright and the truck isn't too badly busted up....

Gievn the somewhat cheerful attitude I'd say it wasn't Turdle... did your boy have an "OOPS" moment??

It was me:( I'm just glad we all walked away from the deal without a scratch on us, that's all that really matters in the end. I can always get another mounty.

The adjuster isn't going to even look at it until the 7th, so until then it's going to sit in Jon's yard.

Ouch!! That sucks..glad you're all ok though.

Since the adjuster won't come out until the 7th, I'd suggest pulling your custom stuff and replacing it with stock stuff if you can. The custom stuff (wheels, stereo, etc) won't add much to the value for insurance purposes.

It looks like there are quite a few salvageable parts inside and a few good ones on the outside. You might beable to find another Mounty that has a blown motor or tranny cheap and swap everything over.

I speak from experience when my last roll over cost me $500 and some time.

Yes I was riding in it when this happened. Talk about a rush, I've never been in an auto accident of any kind. I felt so bad because so much was invested in the mounty. So was everything under the hood alright Eric?

Yeah, the motor and headers are fine, I am kind of worried that is was running for a couple of seconds when it was upside down, it was bouncing off the rev limiter:scratch: I thought the inertia switch was supposed to kill the motor after something like that.

nice going genius

Now behave!

**** happens. That's why we have the 'Rollover Posse'.

Pull your insurance policy, and see how the value is calculated - fair market, or blue book average of wholesale/retail. I'd also start looking for identical vehicles, just for pricing, to see what's it worth, and to make sure the adjuster/insurance doesn't low ball you.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing as well along with no air bag deployment. But Man Kudos to that truck man. That thing still handled like a mo fo. It was so much fun. You really don't see Explorer/Mountaineers here in KC like that. It had the heart of a stang no doubt! I'm glad the headers and motor is intact though. Hopefully you'll get everything going again real soon!

He is my brother, so this is just the beginning :D. Oh mom and dad want to know when you lost all that great talent of yours.

Air bag & inertia switches are oriented for a nose first impact.. not a tail over head. It's all in the direction of the force. Think full frontal impact, not a roll over.
