Painting Mags

Well, corosion has taken the best out of my original Ex mags, I have sanded everything to bare aluminum for the coroded parts, the rest I scuffed it. Now I'm finishing the priming part.

Question: After I put the color on, is there something I can put on top of it to make the finish harder. Something in a can if possible!!! I'm doing all the job with can paint.

I have no idea on what to put on it other than maybe a clear coat. I would really like to see how they turn out though, mine is starting to look a bit corroded also and I would like to try painting too.

I'll try to get some pic's, with the truck spot primed. I would have to find somewhere to put them! Or maybe I could mail them to you. I'll see what I can do.
