Passing gear burning smell?

Has anyone else experienced a burning smell when using passing gear on the X? Has happened to me 3 times. Another forum member said he noticed it also.

I've also noticed a "hot" smell when really getting on the throttle. Might just be paint or a coating burning off..

I noticed it too but seems to be lessoning.
AAAH! The smells of a new car. Got to love it.
