please help im so confused

ok i have a 96 xlt with the premeium head unit and a amp for the
front and rear speakers (no sub or sub amp)6 disc in the center console and rear radio controls
please clear this up
what wire harness do i use to put a aftermarket head unit and use the factory amp

i had the same problem with my 95xlt. advance auto parts can order the kit and you can also get it from crutchfield. i went passed that totally and replaced the door speakers all the wires and put an aftermarket head unit, amp, and subs. that may not be an option for you, i had the radio, amp, and subs sittin in my garage alredy. total cost about $1200-1500

Thanks for the info but I figured it all out ,put a after market reciever with the metra harness,new door speakers ,amps and sub and now the ex is booming
