I got a pioneer 7800 headunit. two alpine type x subs 12" tuned to 32hz per specs from alpine, and a hifonics 2400amp pushing 1200 rms at 1ohm. Im lookin into gettin a brutus that pushed 2500rms at 1ohm. Stock door speakers . not enough money yet. Just got my x lifted and tires so waiting for funds to roll in. I got 0 guage wire all around a yellow top in the front and a kinetik in the back.

How much lift? and how much did it run you?

Sorry I didnt get emails saying there were replies. Ports are 9.75x 4.25, giving me about 88inches of port area combined. Bit of overkill but it sounds good to me lol. I got a sketchUp file of the box if you want it.

Here is what kind of devastation it gives me :p Havent got termlabbed yet but I swear I could hit 145 or close too..

2 digital designs 9518s running off 4 digital designs m2a's with 4 kinetik 2400s and a custom 300 amp alt. running a jvc kd-avx720 155.3 db at 39 hertz....

did i see your headliner actually shaking? and it's good to know I'm the only one whose liftgate rattles nasty with the subs

Lol everything shakes in there, my windshield didnt used to have a crack spanning from one end to the other :p. I surprise myself how much flex comes from those 2 12s. My liftgate window is the worst for vibrating, I can see it just falling off or shattering one day

I know it's just my opinion, but that much bass,,,,the rattling of windows,,,,the breaking of windshields,,,,,is just stupid. Yeah, that makes music really enjoyable. Not.

Now, before you take my comment all personal. I like EVERYTHING from five Finger Death Punch to Michael Buble (just no rap hip hop crap), but you don't need all that bass just to listen to good music.

Different people have different preferences - what you find stupid and non enjoyable, others find pretty awesome.

Personally, I want more bass lol.

I've noticed that mine actually is not the window itself shaking, but the stupid little wiper blade. If I grab the blade and hold it, 75% of the rattling stops

Well i agree and i dont. I listen to everything, rap rock death metal country blues. Anything that sounds good and can be appreciated which is all kinds of music ill listen to. Hell even beethoven. Bass is useless unless you have mids and highs to go along with it. The more bass you have the more mids and highs you need to properly balance your system. I would like to think my system is pretty loud. But i have mids and highs to back up my bass. My rear view mirror shakes like a banshee and my side mirrors do as well. But i get compliments from OLD ASS people who say wow its freaking loud but its really balanced and sounds nice. Anyone can take two grand and buy a big ass subwoofer and amp and make it slam. Its hard for people to control themselves and make a system that compliments one another. Just my two cents. Oh and by the way beethoven SLAMS! lol

I want more bass too...lol I dont think you can ever have enough. Well with consideration to my last post of having everything work well together. But yes more boom boom the better. :D

Working on a mild system now. Intalled a AVH-P4300DVD. I built a fiberglass/MDF sub box to fit under the false floor in the rear, I'll be mounting a single Pioneer shallow mount 12", will be installing new components with a 4 channel amp, running all new wiring obviously, and hopefully hiding everything, but the amp rack is posing a challenge so far, unless I mount something behind the rear panel. Still thinking about that.

I'll try and get a few more photos when the stuff starts to arrive, but for now most of it is on order. Right now it's in development stage. I don't have the woofer hole cut out to proper size yet, until the sub arrives and I can get the proper dimensions.

- Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD
- Pioneer GM-D8500M 1200W Max Class D Mono Amp
- Pioneer TS-SW3001S2 1500W Max Shallow Mount 12" Sub
- Infinity Kappa 682.9CF 6x8 Component Speakers
- Infinity Kappa Four, 4 Channel Amplifier
- Crap ton of wiring.
