question about tire fitment

Hey guys so i stupidly ordered a set of cooper discoverer at3's before consulting you guys. I have the stock 235/75r15's on but these coopers are 265/75r15. On the master tire fitment thread here it says that i could fit 31x10.5 without rubbing, but most places i look it says that the 265/75r15's wont fit. Anyone have any experience with this and has some info for me that'd be great, thanks!

So, 265-75-16 is a 31.6" tire

yeah i was confused cause on their site sizes they only have the 265/75r16, i got the 265/75r15

265/75-R15 tires are 0.33 inches (8.34 mm) smaller in diameter than 31/10.5- R15 tires
