what problems would I have runnings 33x12.5 on 15x10 rims (I refered to chart but looking for some people who really have ran em and have experience)

also what problems would I be looking at if I ran a 33x12.5x16 on a 16x8?

Really depends on what your doing with the set up. Most people will tell you to keep the rim and tire width within 2.5 inchs. That being said; I have experienced more beads coming unseat when aired down on 33x12.50x15 on a set of 15x10 then any other wheel and tire combo. This was not on the Explorer I currently own ( it was a locked Jeep Wrangler), I run 33x12.50x15 on 15x8 steel rims and have had them down to 7psi and never lost a bead.
As far as the 16 inch rim and tire you'll sacrifice your ride, pick up handling but I don't know that there are any off-road gains.
Good luck :salute:

Sacrificing the ride because of the smaller sidewall with the 16" wheel. You probably wouldn't notice it though, since it's a 33" tire. Either 15 or 16 will be fine, but stick with a 8" wide wheel for reasons Welsh stated when aired down.

thanks guys, ive always been able to rely on the people on this forum.

i can find a CRAP load of really good tread 33 but all on 16x8 rims, so i wasnt sure, thank you!
