Rearview Camera Recall 21C09

Well I took mine in for service last week. Had never had any camera issues. After the recall was done I have started getting intermittent blue screens. Great fix Ford!

Do you happen to know the build date of your Explorer?

No, but it was early. I bought it in Oct '19.

I'm curious if the "fix" caused issues for those who never had the blue screen issue to begin with.

My vehicles build date is June of 2019 I have never had the Blue screen issue however I do have a recall for that. for those like me that have had no issues if you would like issues take it in and let them do the recall I guarantee you you’ll start getting the blue screen. As for me the recall will never be performed on my vehicle.

I never had the issue with the screen either but the dealer did the recall on June 25, 2021 and haven't had any issues. Build date October 9, 2019.

Not sure of the build date, but I bought it in Oct 2019 so it had to have an early date.
