SAS or lift?

Hey everyone, I've been wondering what's better between a single axle swap or lifting the front with new drop brackets and all that's implied on a TTB front end, I've got a 94 4X4 sport, I want to do something good, solid, but not spend unecessary money, the idea would be to be able to put 32's or 33's. Thanks for the help. (getting tired of the old stocker, time for mods!)

If you're only lookin to run 32s or 33s and don't want to spend a lot of cash, I'd just do a lift. An SAS will cost a lot more, will probably alter the trucks on-road drivablity, and will give you more lift than you're lookin for.

I'm just not quite sure with what I should go ahead with, Some guy in the garage I got fix my truck (do it yourself place) has rebuilt rangers and stuff and told me that in two day we'd be able to put a 2'' body lift and a 3 to 4 inch suspension lift for 700 or 800 $ canadian which is like 450 maybe USD. I think it would be shackles and new blocks in the back, f-150 spacer, drop brackets, springs and other stuff up front. I want to lift it for tires, get good ground clearance but not loose to much stability for road trips.... I think I'm asking a lot Thanks for the info.

Lift would be more practical, but done right an SAS is very managable on the street.

Just remember, you'll always want more

Isn't that the truth. Lord knows I have dumped a lot of money into the x, but I keep finding more things to do and looking for more money to dump into it.
