I was thinking it might be a single-axis pivot point -- kind of like a clevis or something. But that wouldn't make sense. So it must be a slip-joint of some sort (kind of like the slip-joint on a driveshaft). I'm thinking that the wicked thing that the drag-link is connected to has a solid square stock welded to it undeneath that boot. This square stock then slides into that tube thats welded to the front cross member and greased up for good measure . But if this is the case, then that is probably pretty scary cauz it looks so half-fast -- the rest of the truck (the body) looks so clean and here you have this odd looking steering.

Was looking at the pictures and notice the rear driveshaft. Is it normal for it to have side to side angle running up to the t-case? Almost looks like he used a rear axle out of an Econoline van with the offset pumpkin.
