Modified 1991-1994 Explorers :p:

Hello Doomie17

With SOA and 5 "lift the suspension, the car is as high in front and behind?

i kinda lied it measured 5" of lift for the front after i did the lift but it sagged down to about 2" to 3" so i have some serious rake. rear is about 6 due to the lift shackles. but i just went out a got skyjacker 136 coil which say its a 6 inch but ill have to see considering the winch and brushguard i have which weigh close to 300 pounds.

i don't think that i've posted these in here. this is my old '92 with the front sway bars removed and the rears disconnected

that's pretty much max flex for that truck. the back driver side tire was just starting to come off the ground. i could push down on it and make the truck rock side to side a little bit (my gf, who was inside of the truck, didn't appreciate that too much lol)

Three scrapped explorers? Y?

the first '91 was run until 330k miles (original engine and tranny, never rebuilt) and it had no life left in it. I had gotten another car and actually gave that one away. The other '91 had a cracked block and the '92 had a blown up transmission. I was going to put the tranny from the '91 into the '92 but i never could get the shop space or tools to do it, so i parted them out and scrapped the rest. I might, however, be getting a '93 sometime soon :)
