smelling anti freeze

i keep smelling anti freeze but i dont notice any loss iv checked the oil and no signs of it in there. i did a quick look around but no signs of leaks i might of missed. whats the most common places to check?

Get a dye test kit and test for leaks.. It could be the heater core, heater control valve, etc..
 






I would check the heater core first, see if the firewall is wet behind and below your glove box

Next would be to check the plastic heater control valve mounted on the heater core hoses under your hood, see if the under side is wet.

the dye test would be next OR a coolant pressure tester you can rent from Autozone.
 






yea i dont smell anything from the exhaust only around the engine bay area ill check those places thanks
 












plastic heater control valve is leaking from the bottom of it thanks for the quick help :thumbsup:
