Yeah have seen these already, But i don't need the Rims already have some
and Shipping from Rhode Island to Kansas is gonna be a killer for sure

Back to the thread subject.....

The band I had booked for Sat night is out. Lead singer has had surgery and will not be able make this. I do have a couple other bands I need to contact, but not sure about them doing this Gratis or not. Some will work on tips alone and some want a set fee. I'm going for the tips alone group. There will be others at the park that can help us on that aspect, so it should work out just fine if I can book another band with that agreement.

Hey, if you can't sit/stand/hang for 3 hours of an entire weekend, you don't have too.

There are all kinds of people going to be here for this weekend that do not have hardcore trail rigs and are going for the comradeship. I don't know many people that didn't enjoy the band when we had one here. This is only once a year and it is different from any other meet anywhere because of the Sat evening entertainment. I didn't ask this year, because this is how I am doing it. If there is a problem with it, Somebody else can take over and plan it the way they think it should be done.



Edit: Ok, maybe I was a little hasty here. I am thinking of all the people that are going to be here that do not have a wheeler, or are meeting members for the 1st time, and want to spend time hanging out with each other. A bonfire can accomplish this as well.

If the majority do not want any live entertainment (band), just speak up and I will not take it personally. It will be just less things for me to work on.

The band is cool with me also!! I like to watch agood band play!! I also think that it's cool that it wasn't added to the other cost that comes with going to SMORR to just get in.

Also wont it make are club COOLER for supplying such live intertainment!! FREE!!!

We don't go out saturday evening til dark anyways so having a band this night will make that down time less boring.You will still beable to hear the band at camp site also.

as far as this Band Issue goes if ya get one on the down low fine if ya don't no biggie but I wouldn't go outta my way to get one if i was you.

I would be fine just sitting around a fire drinking myself silly and just as well watching a band play too.

My stereo is really loud in my rig. So we can listen to that in lieu of a band. Either way if a band is there ok, if not that is ok too.

Bummer about the hand. I'm little nervous also cause Im gonna drive my truck there and I usually trailer. But that means nothing to extreme for me Smorr is tons of fun even not being extreme, I think my favorite trail is like level 2- the long creek trail.

If anyone needs help with tow hooks, we can help you install them at the park. Just bring them (plus hardware) with you, and we will make sure you have a tow point. At least one for the front & back will be needed.
