had the day off, other project fell through, so i decided to do plugs ans wires.
the truck had been running a little rough and i had never done plugs or wires before. i bought this truck at 79k and it is coming up on 95k, so i was like "what the hell, looks simple enough"
so, i pull into autozone, pop the hood, grab my deepwell 16mm and pull the easiest plug. i take it in and gap it and its a quarter inch off and rounded and nasty. i pick up a set of bosch platinum +4 plugs and bosch wires, put the test plug back in and go home.
so i spend an hour or so changing the plugs and wires (making sire to document whats what) and once i get everything changed, i fire it up.
all i can say is WOW! what a difference new, decent grade plugs and wires make! i dont think i will ever use any other brand and will definately do my own from here on! i just cant wait to see how my mpg changes!
