I installed a stereo in my new cheby.
I didn't want a big box taking up room in the back, like all my previous installs, so I created a false floor. The Trailblazer has a hatch in the floor of the cargo area and I utilized this space for the sub enclosure.
I am 95% done with my install. I flush mounted the sub (Boston Pro 10.5LF) and sub amp (Alpine MRD-M605). Hidden under the false floor is the controller to the sound field processor, amp for the front stage (150x2 rms), and of course the wiring.
The headunit (Alpine CDA-7949) and sound processor (ERA-G320) are 10yrs old, but I hope they never die. I also have a changer in the glove box (CHAS-634)
I have a little tweaking to do, cosmetically and sound quality wise.
Overall, I am happy with it.
