What did everyone do about there E-brake cable

you just kind of move it out of the way.. I mounted my sliders so they just clear the cable.

I don't know if they will be done in time for Calico, I have to replace my U-joints now. So I'll see if I can get those done before the weekend. Then I have the weekend to get the sliders done Actually only Saturday, because of Mothers Day is Sunday.

I just saw your thread about the u-joints. I think I need to do mine in the rear shaft too.

What did everyone do about there E-brake cable

I don't remember how the Explorer's e-brake cable mounts up front but on my Ranger there is a bracket which at one time was riveted on and is now bolted on so I made a new hole higher up out of the way to clear the sliders.

Oh, and nothing says happy mothers day like a set of sliders

My slider mounts hit the frame just below the e-brake cable.

Been working on the Ranger try'n to get it done. Don't think I'll make Big Bear..... I have to replace the front excluder seals (squealing) and I think I have a broken motor mount from Calico I got to fix that too.

Well, finaly started working on the sliders today Now that End of Summer Run is only a few weeks away.

Should be on by tommorow evening.

Ran out of time got them about 80% done. Will finish them next saturday.

Right now I'm not happy with two thing on them right now though.

1. They hang down really low. (due to planing on taking out body lift.)

2. Don't like rear mounting bracket (strangth) May put in center support.

They're done I just got to make them stronger still. I still havn't taken pics of them yet though.
