Haha I was actually just thinking that exact same thing, maybe a pry bar. Oh and we deffenitally need some compound paint or whatever that crap is to make sure the pinion and ring touch in the right spot.

When I did the gears in my ex I just used the same shims that were in the diff and everything worked perfectly. I just had to grind down the center shaft on one end of it to clear the rig gear to get it back into the hole.

It is nice to see that there is a few guys somewhat near me that I can wheel with once I get another ex.

How are you guys coming on the lift and gears? I replaced my upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rods on Tuesday. I also started on some new bumpers last night.

Hahaha, wow, lets put it this way, I'll probably be coming stock. We attempted to do it yesterday (Jman and I) and we realized after the shocks were removed that we didn't have the hardware we needed to install the rear shocks or the new leaf springs, and we need a bigger jack/ stands for the front to even attempt it. So, I have to call the company and ***** about not having any of the hardware now and I'm not very happy. As for the gears, thats going to probably happen after this run because we need a good solid day to do it and we need the tools (can't find a dial indicator anywhere). So, yeah thats where I'm at now. I'd probably have a little more done but we completely lost all motivation last night so.

That sucks on the lift. I guess I was lucky I installed my lift in about 9 and a half hours. The difference was I was able to do it at school on a lift and we had a forklift to help reposition the truck on the lift after we installed the new radius arms. :

Yeah, wish I had a lift. There are like 30 lifs at my school but you have to be in a class that uses them and you can't work on just anything which is stupid but whatever. I'll get it done one of these days. After I get all my parts that I actually ordered!

Well guys I'm not sure I can make it. I work on Saturday (wasnt told in time to request off) and I so far can't find anyone to take it. So, I'll keep trying but it's not looking good right now. Hopefully, there will be a winter run or something and I can make it then. I just got to know like a month in advance to request it off. On top of that my ex barely has anything installed for me to be prepared to go so.

I'm assuming Marc, ledzepplin (Ziggy), myself will meet up somewhere are cruise down. Aric, you're welcome to join but i assume your trailering and will be a leaving a bit earlier than us. (Bigman can't take the 250, no title or insurance so i can't get trailered )

Yeah I would if I was going, but I can't because I can't find anyone to take my shift. Besides my ex is no where near ready to go anyway and I have like no time to really work on it. So, hopefully there will be a winter run or something. Just let me know like a month in advance if there is. Oh, and make sure y'all bring your cameras so I can see what I missed and get jelous because I couldn't get covered in mud too :-(.
