$100. not bad

...All 6 pieces brand new, $100 total...:D

...Last year at this time, the cheapest I could find them was about $160, plus tax, and they wanted $70 shipping and handling and I was going to pick them up in El Monte or City of Industry...

Did you snag those off of craigslist?? I saw those on there and said...dang, if those would of popped up when i had my 91

...Yes I did...I still need to mount them plus all the other parts that are in my X...

...And today was shopping day to get the X back on the road and some tires for the Ranger...:D

...I guess I'm the only one who went crazy this year with the March Madness Sales...:dunno:
http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=239570

i didnt even know there was a sale.

...They have a big sale every year and they didn't really advertise it as much this year..:dunno:

...I was looking on AGR's site for a local retailer of their power steering pump...I clicked on 4wheelparts link and seen the sale was going on...At the top of the page they listed their price matching policy so I was off and running...:burnout:

For what it worth the off road expo is next weekend too. too bad i am back on the unemployment line again.:(

.....I haven't even heard any commercials for that yet...

...I am hoping work will pick back up, as it died off again...Once I get the new parts back on the X and get it smogged, It may just have to sit some more...:(

Starting with the Basics...

...Today I had the chance to do a much needed, common repair, that I had found the answers to here on the Forum...My Door Latch Post Bushing replacements...

...This winter, my bushings for my door latch post deteriorated...I wnet to Home Depot and picked in hopes to find tubing by the foot...I wound up having to buy a 10' roll of 5/8" o.d. x 1/2" poly tubing...
http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2157267#post2157267

...I grabbed a knife, my ratchet, and my T50 torx bit...

..The tubing and the bolt...

...I cut the tubing to fit and replaced both rear hatch post...

...Then it was time for the drivers door as it literally fell apart when I opened the door...

ummm how much was that tubing you bought for this project?

......Darn it, I knew I forgot to add something...It was about $8 bucks for the roll...They do not sell that small size of tubing by the foot at Home Depot but other hardware and landscape stores might...;)

...I am done buying the whole post out here for $10-$20 at the junk yard just to have the plastic bushing crack and fall off with in the year..I figured I would give this a shot and so far, so good..:dunno:

Was asking cause AutoZone has new striker bolts for 4.99 and rebushing kits for 2.99. in the Help! section.

I only know this cause i having he same issues with my Van right now. getting tired of hearing them doors rattle all the time.

...Then with the doors I've already done, it looks like I've already saved some money and still have spares...I could have hooked you up...:D

i still have two doors on the van to do cause i cannot get the washers off the bolts :(

...I would use an old socket over it just to get it started, that is, if it won't just unscrew...My washers just unscrewed down the threading...;)

yea my front two doors the washers unscrewed from the bolts but the side door and back door are being alittle tougher and won't unscrew from the bolts. guess i can try the socket trick tommorrow :D

I just read this entire thread... and it's 1 a.m. What the heck am I doing?

Anyway... nice to see the whole build-up lol. Mine will never get that big though. I don't like the way they look that big, or with SAS's.
