Man that sucks. I hope you are able to find work soon.

Sorry to hear this Gman - but it's just a vehicle, I'm sure there will be many more after it.

Sorry as well.

Thank you very much everybody. I am humbled and very grateful for your kind words and concerns.

I have to do, what I have to do, and yes, there will be other builds down the road.

If by some chance work starts again, and I can somehow manage to keep it, I will. Compounding this, I've been bad sick for over a month with respiratory issues, and things have been pretty tough lately. I am managing the best I can, doing what I can, when I can. I don't know what else to say with out this becoming a long novel here, except thanks a bunch! :)

Great to see that you got some work and can keep the ex! Let the wheeling commence.

Jeez mate, hate to see you in such a rough place. Hope you get well soon compadre.

Got the hard mount bracket made & installed for the prop valve.

Rig went for a much needed ride and no brake failures. :D

Man that thing floats like its on a cloud! Almost forgot how comfy the ride is in it. :)

Can't beleave you got your brake issuse fingered out. Be nice to wheel with you and no brake issues!!

Hope you get back on track job wise greg. No time good for money whoes!!

Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee, wrassels crocodiles, eats thunder and craps lightning....Hmm... my nick name might be the black hole if I crapped lightning :)

Glad shes running and stopping sweet mate!!! :D

HAHAHAHA!!! Funny shiz Lynchy!

This rig has faced issues of going, and stopping. But the gravity forces of this Black Hole are so great, they just devoured those issues and left no crumbs behind.

:p:

Started to work on the rear bumper today. Got as far as removing the old one, making the new bracket mounts, & grinding away on the new one for welding.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get some welding done and then a test fit. Then prep for paint. :D

Yeah, glad to hear this is back on track, Brakes Done (knew you would get it resolved), and hopefully you are Feeling Better!

Had a little time this afternoon to mess around with a small project involving the rear bumper.

Since this bumper has no where to place a tag on it, (and I didn't want to deal with mounting it on the hatch) it needed a place to hold it with lights.

So after some thinking, and some surfing around on the web to get ideas, I decided to make my own removable hitch mount tag holder. I seen a couple that used the hitch receiver, but had no provisions for lights, and they were almost $50, then add shipping on top of that.......Meh, I can make it myself for a fraction of that.

Took a sheet of 1/8" steel, and cut it to allow the EF plate holder/cover to work on it. :D

I cut it in such a fashion that there are tabs on each side that the new lights mount to. This plate will be welded to a 2" hitch tube, that I made out of a clevis mount tube. Cut the tabs off, and ground it flat.

The best part about this is the wiring. I will wire the lights to a trailer plug in harness, and simply plug this into the stock trailer plug harness already there for me. :)

When it's time to go serious wheeling, simply unplug it, and remove. If there is a need for the tag in an area that it needs to be shown, well, then it can be attached to the hatch with some magnet strips I have for it.

Pics after it is welded up and painted. Hopefully this weekend the rains will be gone, and some work can be done to the bumper & this tag mount.

Always look forward to more pics of your work!
