Who would like to hit the hammers this season. I have been wanting to go for a few years. I am finally have a truck that should be able to do a few trails there and there are a few others here that have the trucks as well.

I figure the minimums for this run is:
35" tires
Lockers front rear
Sliders
Auto or 100 to 1 gearing with a stick.
Not going to piss and moan if you to some major body damage. (hopefully we avoid it but I have a feeling the probablity is higher there then it is at truckhaven)

A winch would be recomended.

I have never been there before so I don't know much about it. I know Tdavis has gone a few times. I also talked to Pcola (with the red ranger) at the last truckhaven run and he has a built 4 runner he has taken out there and sounded like he knows his way.

Who else is interested.

I'd love to go again.. Just realize it's really, really, really cold at night there till march/april.

Shotgun! I'll be a ridealong with somebody/anybody. :D

Depending on when it is, I'm down!

I'm almost ready for major body damage, but not quite yet. Truck Haven doesn't cause what I would call major body damage, even though my whole left side is bashed in from last weekend.

Once my rig looks like this, (with tube doors) then I'll be ready for anything.

That looks sweet

Ok, throwing dates out:

Jan/Feb - truckhaven annual run, not a good time to schedule hammers?

March - attempt to get an Aridzona run going, not a good time..

April - ah, finally, an empty month. Tinbenders jamboree is usually the end of April.. it still gets cold at night there, but horribly cold.

May - that's not winter.

Suggestions?

I have a Sawzal! :D:p:

Have we set a date yet for the anual Thaven run yet?

End of april or maybe a bit later probably wont work for me. Tracy and I are trying to plan something for then that a few of you will probably be invited to attend.

I'm in depending on work.

Feb or March then..

Feb or March then..

I haven't kept up to date. Which one is the hammers? Is there a CG?

Date depends on a trip to Arizona. I can't go the weekend it's planned so I'm trying to get a another group together.

this sounds really cool as a ride along/passenger. i've always been curious about the hammers, but my car meets none of the requirments, it just looks fun to be a passenger

I would love to shoot video/pics.
