My build thread on my 1993 Ford Explorer.

1st day home.

Engine 4.0 v6
Trans a4ld auto
T- case B/W 1354E
Front Axle Dana 35 open, 3.73 gears
Rear Axle Ford 8.8, l/s, 3.73

Plans for it.

Front : HP Dana 60, 5.38 gears, Lockright Locker, hi steer, hydro assist.
Rear : Dana 60, 5.38 gears, A locker ?, Disc brakes.
Front Susp. : Custom leaf spring or ?
Rear Susp. : Leaf Spring
Tires : 38.5 TSL Boggers
Wheels : 16x8 or 16x10, with weld on bead locks.

I plan building custom bumpers F/R and Exo-cage, Warn winch front and some other things.

id like to look at those mounts you made for the front leaf springs, it looks really great, what vehicle did you get those dana 60s off of?

Front is a 89 F350 and the rear is a 78 F350.

A update on the explorer is done for now, a new rig build is in the works, and will be running it the way it is till the new one is done.

Thinking about 44/60 or 60/60 or 44/14 or 60/14 combo to put on, a different winch to put back on and maybe some other tires on to sell it, keeping my axles and winch for the next rig, not sure about the tire combo.
 






Found a Dana 44\9" combo for the axle swap and installing a Smittybilt XRC-8 winch and start driving it this week.
