It is not what the forum can do for you, but what you can do for the forum.
Take the initiative and do something yourself - show us what you can do ;)

Well, to be honest your posts have nothing to do with Sport trucks--( this site's term for Street trucks)

The sport truck forum is mainly for lowered, street performance thumpers. Not necessarily for " 2 door sports "

Not much going on in here, that is true.

Edit, I see 2 from way back in July in the sport truck forum.

Helpful forum

I've received a lot of help from this forum! There is a vast amount of useful information available in the archives. Unfortunately, so many people ask their questions without first searching to see if the question has already been asked and answered. After a while, members tire of answering the same questions over and over.

After a while, members tire of answering the same questions over and over.

And when it is answered over and over you increase the number of search results to read thru for good info.

Answering a question which has been answered is actually a bad thing, in the long run, unless you answer with a link to an existing good thread

I don't think there are that many of us around, this is mostly an off road, or stock forum.

Doesn't have to be that way... Explorer Forum is here to help all Explorer and Ranger based vehicle owners no matter what type of mods they're into.

With the economy as bad as it is, not as many people are working on big projects right now. It's like this on other automotive sites which I use as well.

I totally understand, but I'm just stating the facts. The street guys are just way in the minority on this forum. And that doesn't really bother me a whole lot. Just makes mine that much more unique. I wouldn't complain though if there were more people around to get ideas from.

Yeah, this forum hardly gets any hits at all.

(SARCASM INTENDED)

Can we change the name of the forum then?

From "Sport Trucks" to "Street Trucks" or something that helps define upon first reading that it's meant for the street crowd?

Done

...Great idea and nice to see the change....:biggthump

...Now if we could get a few people doing writeups on their new projects, maybe this sub forum will come back to life...:shifty_ey ..I don't think all the street guys have gone to the Dark Side...

i understand the that its a street forum.i was lowered at one point.might possibly go lowered again just because goin lifted is expensive no matter how you look at it.whether you superlift it or bodylift .you still gotta buy wheels and tires, then you mpgs drop.

Sweet!

I got an upcoming project for the rear cargo area that's sure to make some people drool.

:-)

I don't understand, street mods will cost more than tires any day. Also most people do street mods, such as lowering, go with custom rims low profile tires, then paint job etc all of which cost money. They also do performance mods which most lower the overall mpg.

Still a few. Seems to be better street based forums around though.

Nope. They don't have me to moderate them, so it cannot happen. :p::D

It's all what you want to make it... The management is very open to ideas, and doesn't discriminate;) To me a well built vehicle is what it's all about no matter what purpose it was built for.

Explorer/Ranger owners are lucky. There are a lot of vehicles which can be modified for off-road and a lot that can be built into street trucks, but how many SUVs and P/Us look and work great either way??

Performance mods don't have to lower the mpg, if driven properly they can help your mpg. Look at Aldive he has a lot of bolt on performance stuff, and with some changes to his tune file would probably put down some really good times at a track.
