Tinted lenses today with VHT niteshades

Tinted my lenses today with VHT Niteshades spray

Masking was the hardest part:

The headlights look cool. I don't care for the super dark tails. The first time I used Nightshades several years ago I did them too dark (and nowhere near as dark as yours). I did some testing out on a dark country road and the effectiveness of the tails was signficantly reduced over stock. They are a safety feature after all. Get rear ended and don't expect the cops to be sympathetic.

That's why I went with lighter shade (one coat). Looks better than stock and the tails are still very visble under all conditions.
 






You need to consider some sort of clearcoat for the headlights, and pry the taillights. Rocks, road debris, bugs, etc will chip the coat off the headlights for sure...
 






^ I agree, I would put a couple thin coats of clear coat paint on those to help protect the tint, rocks could easally chip the tint.

I got the Ford logo decals on Ebay, can't remember seller's name or the cost.

yeah it looks really good, before I had a car, before my permit and all that, on my old mo-ped lmao, i did something like that, i had a small StreetGlow logo I put inside of the taillight it was pretty cool
