Bad idea in my opinion. I wouldn't even drive w/o a big rear bar.

I didn't feel much of a difference driving up to 85mph without a sway bar. There is definitely a difference though. I would not tow without a sway bar.

yeah, i dont mind driving regularly without it it's towing without it that im worried about.

Just my opinion, but the rear sway bar really doesn't do a whole lot. It's quite small IMO, and I had mine disconnected for about a year until I got rid of the front one. I only hooked it back up because without either the thing is downright scary on the road. I have to ask though if your sig you say you have quick disco's, so why would you be towing without it?

just curious.

just use it....you have it so why not.

I tow my 13'' fiberglass boat (Boston Whaler) with its 40hp engine (boat + engine + trailer = 1500lbs) and i have a SOA conversion with no sway bar. I went all the way up to 85mph while towing it and i went around some high speed curves on the highway with no problems at all. Of course it sways a little more but nothing that will scare you into thinking your going to flip. I never once thought about the fact that i didnt' have a rear sway bar while i was towing my boat.

Thanks,
Colton

How much can a sway bar do on a solid axle??
