I've got the 2003 Explorer with towing package, and was wondering if it has a tranny cooler from the factory?
This weekend I'm renting a (gulp) Uhaul trailer for a 350 mile journey, and am concerned about ruining the tranny on my new truck. Anyone thoughts on this? The outside temp. will be in the 50's. Thanks!

Look in behind your grille. You will see a wee little radiator there if you have a cooler, if not, you can install one simply enough. Your tranny cooler lines also go to your radiator, so in a way you do have a cooler.

There's a small cooler, looks like it's for the power steering, mounted right under the engine. Are the trans cooling lines connected to the lower passenger side of the radiator?
