The turn signal bulb could also be out.

Thats what was wrong with mine, i replaced bulb and it began to flash again.

ill look for a burnt bulb but i dont remember seeing one

yeah just get a new bulb, mine was bad and did the same thing and the bulb still looked ok, worked fine after replacement

On my 93 when a bulb burns out, it blinks twice as fast. When the flasher went out, it didn't blink, but just stayed on steady. Replace the flasher under the dash on the fuse panel with a new one and you should be good to go. Flasher costs a couple bucks is all.

which one is the flasher how will i know. All the bulbs are working so it has to be somthing different

It's the big round thing in the fuse panel under the dash

I think the one for the 4 way flashers is behind the fuse panel someone else might know if you can switch them.If they will interchange you can tell if it's the flasher.

alright thanks im gonn look into those

THe flasher unit is for both sides. If none of your blinkers work, just stay on, then check your flasher unit. If only one side doesn't work, check bulbs.

The flasher on the side with the fuses is for the turn signals.. The one on the back of the fuse panel is for the 4 way flashers..

My flasher went out and only half of my lights were blinking while the other side was staying on. I bought a new flasher but after I wiggled around the old one a little they all worked again.

well guys i fixed it... i took the flasher off the fuse box and checked the turnsignal and nothing happened then i put it back on and it started working again. must have locked up thanks for the help everyone

Hi team. Where is the fuse box that the flasher is located behind? Will you post a pic? I looked behind the fuse box / panel located near the left driver door jam and didnt know what I was looking for exactly.

On a second Generation, it is above the kick plate and to the left of the steering column. Remove the plastic kick panel (there's two bolts hidden behind the hood release to get that plastic panel out), then pull the steel panel above it. It might be yellow or it might not but it'[s a small plastic box affixed to the dash right above where your left ankle would normally sit. Some parts houses will try to sell you two, but (on a 99 at least) there is only one, responsible for both directionals and flasher. I had an odd double failure, the module went bad and the multi-function switch failed in such a way I had no turn signals and the left signal would illuminate with the stop lamps. I must have looked funny with my arm out the window, turning right with the left signal stuck on
