Sorry guys, I didn't get to make it up there. My buddie's girlfriend wrecked her car up in the Poudre, so we postponed the trip. I've been up there and looked at it, and I thought it's possible. We were going to take my X, a 94 F-250 TD and a Jimmy on 33's. I just didn't want to try it by myself. I'll start a thread on a trip if we ever get organized again. Ballard is on 4x4trails.net, it's not hard unless there's the snow is too much. It's off Larimer CR44H.
410fortune so i guess what had happened was that a cap came off my ujoint so i need a ujoint and a seal for the drivers side which is cheap evough to buy brand new, they said there is a posibility that the axle got messed up but they wont know til they get in there and look, so as of now i guess i dont need the axle but there is still a chance i might, i really appriciate you being willin to help me out on that part, its good to know there are people that are out there not to screw ya, ya knw
my question to you is who are you paying to do this work? cuz we could easily do this at my house! Oh wait you are in Ft Collins.....we could do it at your house! I can replace your U joint in about 30 minutes
i was having a shop called mto do it, they were gonna do u-joints and a seal for $250 bucks, there are a lot of things i will do by myself but something about the front axle kinda freaks me out, i would much rather do it with ya cause well one i could save money, and then i would learn how to do it, and if you were willing to do it, i would drive down there, and also be willing to pay you cause you would be helpin me out big time... if you are willing to help me with it i would appriciate it and would make it worth your time
sure thing! We can replace the outer u joints, re pack/grease the wheel bearings, clean up the brake calipers and clide pins and basically do a tune up on your TTB
Does next weekend work for you? (weekend of 02/03/07)

we will have to plan more as it comes closer, but lets shoot for Saturday morning?
With my job I never know when I am going to have to work (deadlines) so it can always change, but I would plan on Sat Am, around 9ish
