Have one now, would like to round up another, preferably AWD, clean title., in good enough shape for daily driver or can be repaired to daily driver.
Ideally 2005 model, but might consider 2004 if it was exceptional.
Lower miles ideal.
Not opposed to a ride with "one big issue" if everything else is in good shape. I've been in that situation of "Jeez, we just need it to roll to the lot for a trade-in," and it's a bummer. Might be able to turn someone's unfortunate situation into a win for both of us?
Willing to travel/get transport for the right vehicle. I'm in the Southwest.
Have seen a few here at dealerships and may go that route, but wanted to check with y'all first.
The Explorer Forum is 100% why I'm looking for another soon-to-be vintage Aviator instead of getting all new-fangled. Appreciate all I've learned here from lots of FMC wrench-turners, and appreciate having a crew to lament with over some of the "Why did they do that?!" engineering.
