They don't really make them anymore, I ended up getting a new one made by Aries 3047 brush guard off of amazon.

I have a 2000 explorer as well, the brush guard fits perfectly just had to remove the air dam from the bottom for clearence. The mounting brackets were horrible i couldn't figure out how they intended it to be mounted. They give you a junky 2d picture of something that is 3d. I ended up just drilling a hole in a part of the bracket to make it fit.

The only other option is a hunter grill guard, you can find posts about it here by searching. Its a cheaper brush guard sold on ebay but its made in china, i bought the Aries one because its american/canadian company

edit: you can also check junkyards and clean up an old one

I have the same type of brush guard on my Explorer. Not sure on the company, but it is very solid, and has saved my front end more then once. Now I am not a bad driver but one day I was having a VERY bad day, and this guy was having a road rage fit, so I hit his cadillac CTS, turns out the wings that protect the headlights hit his car, and left a huge dent all the was down his car. I had no damage to my truck, was a good day.

I really like the Hunter one I have. Despite being made in china, the quality is excellent. Welds were beautiful, powdercoat was flawless, instructions were pretty easy to follow, and it's very solid. I also like how their rubber strips are mounted, it keeps them very secure. And I can't find anything on the Aries that actually claimed "Made in USA" so for $250 vs. $500, and both imported, the Hunter is the best bang for your buck.

I had a Manik and it was a very solid piece. I was a fan.

Making me feel old.
