cool lets see them, i am going to put some kind of l/s or locker in the 8.8 and i dont know about the d35, maybe a l/s also. A buddy of mine said he could install the d35 gears and l/s. All i would have to pay for is to have my gears and l/s or locker installed on the 8.8.

Mind you this is after I jumped my truck and over stretched my rear shocks and blew the seal. Some are of the truck riding up a large lump of concrete and the other ones are of me driving up a retaining wall in the back of my work.

Goblin, there is something up with your rear suspension. Your rear tire souldn't be sticking out that far while flexing. You've got some lateral movement somewhere. Are all of your shackle and u-bolts tight?

maybe i will skip the body lift and go with 31's. Goblin, you have alot of lex but froader is right your back end looks kind of skew. it looks really good with those 31's

Yeah I noticed that when I was taking the pics. I am going to tighten everything up again tomorrow. I have already gone through the front almost completely retightening everything again. I only have hand tools so I have to check everything ever hundred miles or so. I know I stil have like a couple bolts still a lil loose in the front. I haven't checked the back end again sence I put it together. I will do so tomorrow between clases. I have to cause on friday im driving to long beach for the grand prix. That is gonna be so sick.

well i tried to get that bolt out again and it is pretty much in there, i even tried my air hammer with a punch on it. I did manage to get one thing done today, i found some old 5x7 lights in my shed and mounted them. i am planning on putting 2 more up there and then wire them together.

I am about to give up on this shackle thing. i might just do a aal or something.

ok, i drove to chula today and bought a used 31/10.5/15 for my spare, it has about 40% tread left. i will be heading over to black goblins house today to see if we can get the shackles and maybe a new set of leaves on.

Well we got one bolt out of one side.lol

Those bolts just don't want to come out so I told him to just go cut the bolts out with his sawzall so he can put in the leafs I gave him of my truck. His leafs were sagging pretty bad. They were almost perfectly horizontal.

By the way Explore619 has officially gotten his first facial lol.

He got his face in the way when I was trying to spray some white grease on the leaf bracket bolt to try and lube it out. lol

Well we worked on it for like almost 2.5 hours and the bolt just wouldn't come all the way out so I hope you can get it out tomorrow bud.

i am going to be starting around 12 today on my truck, will go pick up new sawzall blades and cut that damn bolt, kind of worried about the other side though. i will put batteries back in my camera and take pics throughout. and yes i did get my first facial yesterday, lol.

here is the pics of what got done today, got the right side leaf in and now i have mad left gansta lean. It took me 2 sawzall blades to get the one bolt out on the front. and that little air hammer ended up punching out the front leaf bolt(goblin=no air tools) And then it took me 10 min to realize with the help of a friend that i had the leaf backwards. I plan on moving the leaf down to the last hole when i get the other side done so it doesn't lean to bad. here are the pics:

i might be getting a good deal oon some new 30's, would they look ok with a 2 -3 inch lift front and rear?

They'll look a little small. If you can go 31s or even 32s, you'll be much happier with the look.

yea i figured they would look a little small, probably go with 31's then. i will probably be mounting and balancing the tires i have now this week and then getting some new ones in a couple of weeks.

ok, got my cb and p.a. installed along with the lights being hooked up. I have decided to go with 30" bfgs on a 15x7 rim. my friend is hooking me up with a set for like 125 bucks. After that progress is going to pretty much cease for a couple of weeks. I have a lot of stuff to pay for and have no extra money. i think that the only thing i am going to be able to get done is the cb console with the place for the switches and the other leaf spring.

i ahve a minor update. Lately i have been swamped with school so i have not been able to really get anything done. I have some bad news and some good news.The bad news is i am going to be needing a new hood latch because my will not work for the life of me anymore. The Good news is i got my console done yesterday. I am planing on making a shorter one for the back that will have a little cubby and 2 drink holders. I will also house 2 5 inch speakers on each side. I also did the "big 3" upgrade for wiring under my hood. Here are some pics from my console.
