whoops into a project

i was looking in the 4 wheel parts mag and they have black tow hooks for like 8.99 a piece. I might now someone that could make a bumper but it would be like 400-500 bucks, mig or tiged and it would take like 3-5 days. Anyway you want it.

Yeah that would be sick I just have to save up some money before I do that. The hooks at OffRoadWearhouse are black and are 9.99. you would only be saving a buck and ORW is in elcajon right off the I8. They had a whole lot of them in stock on the wall. What I really need is some rock sliders so I don't mess up the bady uf my PRETTY tuck lol.:D I already have a crease in the pass fender that was there when I got the truck lol.

cool, so i will see if i can meet up with you on monday or tuesday. I can take the tires off your hands and we can check out rigs.

ok no prob just hit me up when your ready. :salute:

i frined of mine is selling me some 15x7 or 8's with 33/10.5/15 for cheap, now all i need is i lift. I will still take one of your 31's though. i am planning on doing a rear bumper with tire carrier aswell.

ok, i think that i am going to just do a 2 inch lift spring and shackle along with a 3 inch body lift. It will provide enough lift for 33's and then i will need to get gears. probably 4.56's or .88's with lockers.

Tha will cost you a pretty pennie to do all that stuff. I almost got some 33x12.5's but didn't want to have to get the gears yet. I don't have the money to just up and pay for gears on my truck. You have to change the axels to put in lockers?

I just took some kewl pics of the truck here at work like 5 minutes ago. I just uploaded them to my comp.

cool lets see them, i am going to put some kind of l/s or locker in the 8.8 and i dont know about the d35, maybe a l/s also. A buddy of mine said he could install the d35 gears and l/s. All i would have to pay for is to have my gears and l/s or locker installed on the 8.8.

once i go locker i am going to start hunting for a daily driver. What kind of l/s should i get? i saw a pic of an explorer with the same set-up i want i will upload it here in a sec.

i cant figure out how to put the pic on here but is on the first page of the "show off your lifted truck" thread. it is white post number 20. it has skyjacker coils, shackles, 3 inch body lift. Sitting on 33's with both locked with 5.13's

I'm pretty sure Brian had 4.5" lift with 35s. It also looks just like my old one.

idk, i pm'd him and that is what he told me in the message. I asked him about it and he said he was sure. check that, idk if they are 33's, but he said 2 inch suspension with 3 inch body. 5.13's with detroit in the rear and tru-trac up front.

it looks pretty good, i think that the combo i put together wont look to bad. Idk i have not really seen a standing still pic of one with 33's.

yea i understand that your pics had 33's on them but i was talking about 2 inch suspension lift with 3 inch body lift and 33's. BTW what gears are you running? i mean were you running?
