Will 285 Fit?

Has anyone had a 285/50/20 fit on the 4th gen? I'm looking to purchase a new explorer pretty soon and I want 20" Wheels with a little more of an aggressive tire (All terrain) on it.

The 285/50 comes out to just about 31.2"

no..... i just put 265/50/20 on my truck and thats as big as you can go ... i can almost put my finger finger in between the tire and the spindle or aarm whatever it is... their is about 1/2 inch opening their .. makes me a little nevous because if my tire goes low it will start rubbing their/

it all depends on the rim you are running..if it's a stock rim it will only work if you get a wheel spacer... if not it depends on the offset of your rim
