I don't know from where. The mirrors look they are the new ones.

Any update on this?New gasket installed noise still there. It will be going back tomorrow Monday and they can keep it until this is resolved.
Any news on this Tony? This is the low speed whistle. The dealer heard the whistle on my vehicle and verified it existed on a couple other 2020 explorers they had on the lot as well. They reported it to Ford and are awaiting a response or repair from Ford. Their input was not the first on this issue. They will call me when they get feedback. As with a few other issues, there is no fix or info back from Ford.
Your thread was merged with this one found with the 'Search' feature.I have never noticed it with the windows up, but the other day I had my windows down and while driving at about 40ish mph the mirror really whistled. It is kind of annoying....
He did. Dealer said it was "normal".Take it to the dealer.
I went to the dealership and they replaced some moldings and the wind noise was gone. My theory though is that when it's warmer I don't hear the wind noise as much, so hard to say. It definitely reduced it down to zero though.
Thanks ... I tried a brief run today and closing the mirrors seemed to help, but I need to do some more testing to be sure it was not just wishful thinking!! I'll admit the noise is faint, but still annoying. I may try the masking tape idea as well. Perhaps if I show them the "fix" they'll decide it's not "normal" as is!!Replacing the mirror has fixed the issue for some members Ken. Try driving it with the mirror folded and see if the noise changes/disappears.

Two techs couldn't hear the noise, but the service manager himself was able to replicate the whistle.
I have a loaner Fusion for now while they attempt to fix. They tried taping areas off to isolate the noise, but nothing yet. Just got a text from my salesman that they might need it through next week to fix.
On one hand, I'm ecstatic they're taking initiative on something some have gotten an "it's normal" response from. On the other hand, I've only got 400 miles of time behind the wheel. I'm ready to get to know the car a little.
I sent my salesman this thread, but has anyone else gotten definitive answers to a solution? @Vash610 What moldings were replaced - would you be willing to look at your service records?
Would you be willing to share the part number(s) from the work order etc.? Great ammo when heading back to the dealer and convince them it's not "normal"!! Thanks!!Someone had moldings, I had the mirror replaced which solved my whistle. It has been perfect since then.
