AVS - In-Channel - Definitely Recommend
Plain and simple, I installed them wrong!
Arrogance will bite you every time. I've installed in-channel vents on my and my wife's last five vehicles so I assumed I knew what I was doing. Every in-channel so far went in the exact same way, no deviation. These are different!
When I got home today I lowered my windows and installed the front passenger deflector the way it was designed to be installed. I then hit the up button for the window. Guess what, it went right up without any delay, without any hiccup of any kind. Previously I had the entire unit inside the channel, however, it does not go in that way. The front and top do, the back goes to the outer side of the channel and if you look at the plastic, it is apparent that is the design.
I then went to the back window and guess what, followed the directions and the window went right up, no hesitation, no delay, no hiccup.
I can tell you all this. This is now my sixth installation of AVS In-Channel deflectors and this is the only installation which deviates from the others. Had I read the instructions and followed them, I likely wouldn't even be on this forum talking about them but I installed the wrong and rectified my error.
I plan on posting some pictures shortly but I can, without hesitation, recommend this product!
