I'm all ready to go...until this morning...the Superduty is dead in the water, not starting at all, lots of black and white smoke, runs for a few seconds and dies.

Puh seee ble that its the camshaft sensor -- common thing to die on the powerstroke (amongst others)

I don't know where you all are getting your info from. All I have here in Point Loma/Ocean Beach area is a light breeze of about 5mph.

I got my info from being outside the house today. Wind increased all the way up until sundown, then stopped for awhile, now is picking back up.

This is the weirdest Santa Ana yet. The wind is only blowing sometimes, and in some locations. In east county, Interstate 8 has been closed all day due to high winds, but at my house, the wind is only moderate.
The fire department seems to have it together this year. Only takes losing a few hundred houses........
They knocked the s*&t out of the fires we had last night and today. I have never seen a fire contained as fast as the Campo fire we had today. It had the potential for the same disaster we had last year, but it was fully contained by this afternoon. Without air support (the wind was too great) Great Job!

I've got good news, and bad news...

BAD-I lost my trans Sun. night on my way home from work.

GOOD-It's already being rebuilt, and I should have it back by Friday afternoon.

Although now I probably can't afford the last few little things that I wanted to have done before T-haven.
