I ground down everything as close as I had the patience for. Those two outside parts I did today were a pita.

Can you swing over to ofn and check out my thread there. :)

Whats the plan for the Lic. Plate?

I have a 98+ rear door with glass if you want it to move the plate to the door, you'll just need to find new tail lights, and repaint it.

That has to be the best looking (So far) rear bumper ive seen. I love how you added the angles and curves to it, rather than just bone straight like most.

Cant wait to see the finished product:thumbsup:

Like stic said, what are you planning on doing with the license plate?

Are your parents heading North anytime soon? :D

I'm not really sure what my current plan is for the plate. I was thinking of maybe doing one of those spring loaded hinge deals so the plate will fold up if you need to use the winch. But I don't know how good that'll look. I don't mind running zip ties either. :p:

I don't think they have plans that way...Maybe Mammoth area though:p:

Seriously though if you want it, it's yours. We'll just figure out when your heading down or someone else is heading up. I mite be able to get Matt to get it to fresno next time he's going that way. Or Tom, when he comes down, but don't know where he'd put it sense I have his trailer. Just let me know and I'll put it to the side for you;)

Looks damn good. Its an original no doubt.

It's looking great so far. Where and how do you plan on mounting the winch so that you can still access it to turn it on and off?

The winch will be right up behind the bumper. I already took the majority of the spare tire junk out. I'd like to eventually get in-cab controls for both winches. So spooling the line would be the only reason to access the winch. But it's all up in the air still.

Look killer

If you're not able to get Stic's hatch, how about just screwing the plate to the door on either side? It doesn't look like you've had the lights on it for a while anyway. :p:

Excellent design. Love the bends matching the body.

what else would I need?
I'd want a modular (removable) swing-out spare carrier .

The spare tire mount will be incorporated into the cage in the cargo area. I think a 37x14.5 is just too big to go on the back. :p: hopefully it'll fit inside though.

It fits;) My 37 is standing up in the cargo area right now.

Yea, itll fit with room leftover. 38" and up is when you have to start cutting into the hatch for clearance.

Cool deal. I'll probably start the cage when this thing is done. It'll give me something to do while on my vacation. :D

Stic - do you still have the measurements for the bends or is that something Jefe left town with?

Of course you do need to spool the line every time you use the winch, lol. In cab controls are pie to wire.
