just a question. feel free to say no if you want to, but i was just wondering if this is STRICTLY for members of this site. a good friend of mine has a geo tracker that's pretty stout. he's on a local suzuki forum here in kc. i'm also a member on there, but i don't post much. the guys there are pretty cool, and a few of them have some super nice rigs. i thought it might be pretty cool to extend an invitation to them. if you guys would rather it just be us, that's cool. just thought i'd ask.

There are going to be other makes going with us on this trip, I personally do not have any problems with it. The Smorr the Merrier to me!

If you can get a head count of your attending party, I can just list them along with your name on the attending list as ...turboranger91 +...x amount of people.

It'll be a primitive site for me. Electric is a little expensive.

I will be getting a powered site then. I needs my mass quantity of morning coffee, plus its nice to have a air compressor on site. Gotta have the strings of party lights up too...lol

Hmmm, should I bring the small A/C unit for the tent? Ha...

Now that you say that, a little ac unit parked out the side window of the ex doesn't sound too bad in the middle of July. :D

At the very least, run a couple fans in the tent at night for sleeping.

Can we do something about this list?

Maybe attending:
V8powerbaby
RangRayy
kert0307
Superswamper98
INH
Hitchhikingmike
nssj2
Turdle ..........................When did he sneak in here? LOL

Oh Turdle is coming??? Can you please find a way to haul your powders and oven setup up there??!!!

I bet 10 to 1 you will have a out-of-your-truck concession stand for powder coated parts. :D

But if he did that he couldn't go wheeling he'd be powder coating the whole time.

QUESTION...

I am down in the maybe section, that is because summer school is about to start and I haven't yet been able to talk to my professor yet to find out the dates for all my exams.

I see that no reservation are required to enter the park. right?

However I see that reservations are required for a camping site? I would be pitching my tent in a primitive site. If free spots are available, can I just register for a camping site upon entrance? Or must all camping sites be registered in advance regardless?

What is the last week to register for a site?

Is this an issue that I need to call the management at the park about?

Thanks.

-Also, I will not be brining a rig to offroad, just spectate.

Hitchhikingmike,

The primitive sites are just in an open field type set up. I highly doubt all the space will be used up, as they say unlimited primitive sites.

You might want to call and ask Brandon about it. I doubt he will have a problem with you showing up and taking care of everything when you arrive.

There is still a fee for entering the park with out a rig to wheel. Passengers also pay a fee, and they have no way to know who is riding and who is not, so its a cover charge type deal. I think its $5/day.

I don't think that you can just replace just one rotor at a time. I you replace any brake pads, calipers or rotors, both side must be done at the same time in unison.

Or else your truck will always pull to one side when braking.
