i always heard that it was about 16.8 or so (stock), but it all depends on 2wd or 4wd (4wd is heavier), and gears (mine are 4.10's but ive never run my truck for times), etc.

The only time 4.10s were offered was with the 16" tires which were part of various upgrade packages. On my '97 Sport they were part of the Premium Sport Package. Without the 4.10, the highest ratio you would get would be 3.73s.
By the way my '97 4x4 SOHC Sport ran 16.374 @ 83.04 MPH with 50K miles on it when it was stock at Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix a couple of years ago.
i have never ran the 1/4 but i have done the 1/8 in my OHV sport with 3.73's ( i had stock 15's) i had 4" of lift and 31" tires, but my best time was a 10.2 . BTW i have a stick also
