I can smell the vintage interior from here![]()

I don't doubt it. Stinks to high Heaven. We're actually gonna wear protective gear to clean it out this weekend. Too much mouse excrement...

Sweet Find!!!
E-mailed your "barn find" to my brother-in-law in Montrery California..his car club like to visit old barns and things - finds vintage cars and trucks, restore them and then start cycle all over again. We were talking on the phone when I e-mailed him your find. He dropped his beer and gave out a loud yell!
He approved your new toy....when he saw how much you paid...his words were "NO WAY!!!!" So friend enjoy your new toy and keep us posted on her coming out party (paint job and interior).

Nice flat head! Looks like lots of space for a 427 Cobra Jet engine!![]()
Ya mean like this??

Actually, I'm keeping the flathead in the car. Might get a supercharger though

The engine is nicely installed in this:

Which is the inspiration for what I want to do, but in 4door style.
Link to that car is here:

Well, sadly this project is getting cancelled. A friend and I gutted the interior today to see what the true condition was, and the rust is just too much to make it worthwhile. It needs complete floorboards from firewall to rear bumper, all new body mounts, frame work ,quarter panels, A-Pillar bottoms, B-pillar Bottoms, C-pillar bottoms and rockers just for starters.
Time to part out and go look for the next project...

Bummer, man. I was looking forward to a cool and very different build!
Are you going to look on purpose for the same type of project, or wait until you stumble on something interesting?
