Hey guys, I am looking at buying a 96 explorer with a 5.0. The truck has high mileage so if I get it, I am probably going to look into rebuilding the motor. It will be mainly new rings and bearings, but I am thinking about putting a slightly larger cam in it and porting the heads. What have you guys tried that you would recommend? After I do the motor, I will get k&n and headers and exhaust.
