70 camaro in rehab

Joshua And I bought this in 2001.Plans were to drive her and keep up the maintenance.Maybe add an OD trans,to help with gas milage and lower RPMS on the highway.

I planned on letting joshua take care of the body work.Until some bumd a$$/ Me backed it into a pole. So now I have to fix it!!Well it's started. Hey any other 2nd gen owner here!!!

Here is the day we got her and where SPARKSAFLY'N Came from!!

We really hadn't done much to her except trade the center lines for z28 rims and have fun.Well last yr we did some work on the inside and the truck

I think it turned out ok.truck splatter pain down the road.Then we pull the interrior,floors were ok thankfully carpet was shot so were the seals for the front and back glass. pulled them and redone them.

Here is the cowl vent screen I came up with to help keep out leafs and such.

It works real good to after 4yrs. nothing but dust!!

Like I said she's not real pretty,BUT as of this past thursday & friday!!!

I got to pull her in!! he!he! And they went to work!! I pulled the interrior out friday,and all sheet metal came friday except the deck lid. Duke the owner his boy has a 73 so they have worked on one before so all should be ok.

And with new fender laying in place just for looks

Were going with 1969-1976 GM Hugger orange with one bold stripe of 1992 sivlerado (SILVER) which looks like this!

I'll keep posting pictures as we go,I plan on putting as much help with it I can so maybe it wont take so long 6/8 months is along time.

As much as I like the split bumper look,I'm going to keep the one piece bumper. Can't wait to get the test panel done so jon and I can pick a color to powder coat all the chorme pieces. And see if I can sweet talk him into powder coating some other parts satin black for me. :

Well as of wensday this is what she looks like! Today droped another Gran on her and still haven't bought anything pretty Yet.

That's Zak working on the door.He's the owners son and has a 73 w/big block.

Heres the colors 70-76 Hugger Orange & 92 Silverado Silver. And they've made good progress as well coming along nicely

Well some update pic's

Went up to the shop today,to see how things are coming along. Looks like we may get some color on tomorrow. Things are looking every good to me!

Putting some orange on the underside of the L-88 hood

zacks been working the magic on the camaro for me!!

These two are sitting next to mine 68 camaro and a 66/67 chevelle.

Next pic's might just have color and stripes. Then we get to put her back togather again. And drive it like we stole it!!
