That tube is just laying up there. Not welded. I just set up there so show size tube I am using. I am busting out the tube bender in the morning and getting busy!

I figured that, i was looking for a laugh, and i was wondering how large is your garage, u seem to have so much room to work and i wish i could work as fast as you

This is garage is tiny. 21'x21'. That is why I built shelves to the ceiling and used every inch I could. It is two car but no way to get two cars in there now was barely room before. I miss my garage I built back in Iowa. 26'x30' 3 car. If I had that kinda room now I would be set. Next year we are going move to a bigger property and I plan on building 8-10 car garage with 15' ceiling so I put a lift in. That way I can modify, repair, and gear Fords and Jeeps all day long(and keep turning away the Chebys and Toyotas;)). Right now I can barely keep up with the work I have. Some of my customers are upset cause I am working on the Merc instead of there rigs. LOL I told them I have not had my own rig for almost 2 years. We bought that TJ for my wife and she let me take it a few times and I dumped a bunch of money and time into lifting and gearing it. I made bumpers and sliders for it. But now she gets all chitty if I ask so I said WTH and bought the Merc. Now If she says I am not going I will say see ya when I get back.:p: :D

As far as working fast I have always been a big believer in having the right tools makes all the difference. I got those sliders done in 6 hours from scratch and my phone was ringing all day. Which was driving me nuts. I have 8 phone calls to return today. I am not complaining about the work just about not having more time. LOL days are getting longer so I should be able to get more done. Just wish it would warm up faster in the morning. One of my next purchases will be the hydraulics for the JD2 tube bender. That will make my life way easier. And then I can start the exo on the Merc. :)

this is turning into one of the sickest mercs ive seen man. wish i had the tools and know how you do.

:( we don't even get to see the entire front

all i can say is incredible, i cant applaud you enough on your work and at the pace you do it. i think i can speak for everyone and say that its awesome having you as part of the explorer family. now to technical stuff, i see the two plates you have in the middle of the bumper, is that where you plan on mounting the winch? if not how do you plan on mounting it?

looks from the picture that the negative camber is doing a number on your mud terains

There's no way to adjust camber on a d30. I think those tires were just rollers to move it around.

it might be the tires throwing me off but ive never noticed that on my cj7 which uses d30's... i think

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah winch is going in there. I ran the plates wild until I get the winch and build nice cradle in there for it. Since was nice enough to leave some room in there I am tucking the winch inside the frame rails. And then I will build a skid to protect the radiator below the winch. It will make since when I post pics this weekend.

LOL yeah those are just rollers I took of a 92 Ranger I parted out. That is where my steering box came from too. Out here to pass emissions you have to have 33 or smaller tires. So I keep some rollers so I don't have borrow from someone else. The Kevlars will be here next week(they have been on back order for the 35s). Wife is getting the new ones. I get old ones off here TJ. I think that is fair since she let me build this thing and hasn't complained about it. LOL

I have do some work on 95 Wrangler in the morning and then back to work on the bumper. I hope my winch shows up by noon that would be perfect.:D

are you gonna do an exo cage to?

Painted the pass side today while I was waiting on some stuff. I taped at the bottom of the door and sprayed the rocker too. Since it was kinda nasty from having the factory step on there.
