Haha thanks, I'm running stock gears which are 3:73's. I really didn't notice a big difference at all going from 31's to 33's. And the 210 Hp, 240 pounds of torque the sohc has pulls them along just fine. If I had the OHV engine i'm sure it would be re-geared by now.

Well on my 2000 XLS i am running 32's and they do pretty good under the SOHC. But mind you i've only got 3:55's so just wondering if they'd handle the 33's cause i wanna go bigger :D :D

Tow hook

I got 2 10k pound tow hooks welded to my frame today...weld is tough enough to hold 70,000 pounds per square inch, Im just happy I have a recovery point in the front. Also yesterday I re-mounted my rear tow hooks from the side of the frame in the back to the bottom of it. Not quite as strong as the front but they will do for now til I strengthen the mounting point.

and the rear....

Nice, I plan on doing the same. Somehow...

Well I went and hit up some more trails today and sadly I think it's going to be the last time for a while...I got there and noticed a new sign that sais "vehicles with disabled permit only" I thought to my self what the heck? I know people that have gone their for years. So I go down in there, im probably messing around for maybe 30min and a cop shows up in his fancy dodge charger, walks down to me and asks me "can you read?" uhhhhhh yeah haha what do you say to that? anyway long story short he banned me from all clackamas county parks which I don't really care about because I don't go to any of them but it pisses me off because I talked to a cop at the same place probably 1 month ago and just told me to stay off the upper level and every where else was cool but obviously some stupid kids ruined that for everybody. But what REALLY GOT ME ANGRY WAS...after he handed me the papers he said....these are is EXACT words....."This isnt a good car to be off roading in anyway, I don't see why you would do it" and walks away. I was about to say excuse me?!!!! Do you know how many hours, blood, sweat and money I have into this thing? but I kept calm and didnt say anything.....He was probably a chevy guy or something. Anyway just wanted to share that with everybody...I thought it was very un-called for. but here are a few pictures....They're kinda small so go to my cardomain page 4 to see them larger.

Pretty sweet eh?

Haha.... but man.. that sucks..... damn cops... arg..

Well even though I only got 1 hour of sleep lastnight it was a pretty busy day for the old explorer. I went over to 4 wheel parts and bought myself a 35.00 set of procomp Add A Leafs and went to ACE hardware and got myself a longer torsion bar bolt for the drivers side. It looks pretty level in the pictures because im parked on a slant in my driveway but it's about an inch lower in the front. Here she is......

Nice, I've been thinking about getting some AAL... and lifting the front some more... I only leveled the truck out with the TT/Shackles... I doubt I'm 2" with the TT yet.

Yeah I actually read somewhere on here it won't hurt it any if you go barely over the 2" mark but im not 100% on that.

Damn CV axles....

It probably has to do with the amount of adjustability of the upper control arm also... because of the alignment....

Today I Bought back a set of new hella's for 30.00 I sold to a friend a few months back....he never installed them and didnt want to drill holes in his bumper because he's picky. So I moved my two up top and installed a 3rd one in the middle of the two. Here is a couple photos....
