Ok, I would like to be a little different and use the stock fog lamps from say a 1996 Explorer XLT and install them on my 1999 XLT.
Mine already has the standard fog lamps which are placed on both the far right and far left in chrome. I was wondering if it is possible to put the fog lamps from a 1996 XLT by using the mounting brackets for them in the center, one on each side of the license plate mounting area. I am aware that there is a ramp that helps direct air towards the radiator in this location. But there is a gap on each side that looks as if it would fit these fog lamps. IS THIS DO-ABLE???? Basically i would have 4 fog lamps across the front. I can provide pics of the bumper if needed.
