Adding Keyless Entry Keypad and Mating it to Vehicle?

I have a 2016 Explorer Base. I'm trying to add a Ford (add on) keypad (https://accessories.ford.com/actuator-asy.html).
I am unable to get the vehicle into programming mode to mate the keypad with the vehicle. I've tried all the online tips and can't find anything for 5th gen Explorers.
Anyone out there add one and if so what procedure did you use to mate it?

It has to be programmed with the dealer software. It is not user programmable.

I believe Jason is correct, MY2016 vehicles cannot be user programed. MY2015 and below can.
