Anyone put a 331 or 347 stroker in their X ???

Just wondering what any of you did as far as balancing goes. The late 302's use a 50 oz balancer/flexplate......most of the stroker kits I've inquired about use a 28 oz., or zero balanced.

Just looking for some feedback from anyone who has done the "stroker upgrade".

Talk to jtsmith. He did the 347 stroker kit upgrade.

I need to know as well. I have a 347 with a 28 oz balancer and a 28 ounce balanced flexplate waiting to go in. From what I understand the distributorless ignition gets its trigger signal from the crank which means I cant use my SFI 28oz balncer. Now I dont know what to do. Maybe I'll just buy another Mustang and throw the 347 in there.
