I'm looking at getting some 37in superswampers and i was looking at the prices and the bias ply seems to be considerably cheaper so i was thinking about getting those but will there be any drawbacks to running a bias ply tire compared to a radial. This is going to be my daily driver Thanks

Radial will be a lot more pavement friendly. Better gas milage too.

If yours is a DD then go with radials.. If it will be trailered or will see very miminal highway/road use then go with bias ply.

bias plys will be harder to balance as well.

Bias form a flat spot when you truck sits for any period of time. Then you have to drive around to warm them up.

Its true, I get it on these SX's .. only noticable on the street and normal PSI. But once on the trail or low pressure, then it doesnt matter.

But the advantages of a ply vs a radial construction are imense once on the trails. Radial tires don't conform to rocks and logs as easily.
