Sorry for the short notice, but since fire season technically starts next monday, I want to go wheelin while I still have the chance. Mainly for the stockers, but anyone is of course welcome. If there's enough intrest could also postpone until Saturday the 20th. Any input is welcome.

Let me know! :D

Would love to go, but my truck is on jacks right now, and Mothers Day is Sunday. Don't you love your mother? :p

Next weekend is no good. My Wife is Graduating with a Masters :bounce:

Sounds like fun...

** edit

I'm definitely IN.

I also have a local friend coming with his Jeep :)

Turns out it was just a bad shock bushing, so the clunk on the right is gone and has been replaced by a constant creaking on the left :thumbsup:

I'm available if you'll be up here.

Is 4wd required? or can u get by with 2wd? might be interested if i think i can do it and also maybe the 20th would be better got a kinda honey do weekend going this weekend  if ya know what i mean

With the ice all gone, you should be fine on 3N16 all the way from Green Valley to Holcomb. There might be a few rough patches, but nothing difficult.

There are a few fun side trips you might not be able to take (there's a storm blocked trail I committed to clear the next time I was there) and I don't know about Gold Mountain, but there are always alternate routes if you can't make it.

How about we just go with the 20th. Looks like overall it'll be the better day?

Yeah, I do but she's in Missouri and the wife said the best mothers day present would be for her to have a day to herself. :p

cybergasm - The only part that may be an issue would be Gold Mtn. But if you got alittle lift it shouldn't be to bad. Besides I got straps :D

I might b ok then, right now i am running 33's with a 3 in body lift and warrior shackles pencil me in for the 20th then been wanting to try my creation off road :D

Sweet!
That'll put us at 5 trucks + or -. We'll figure out a meeting place/time and have it posted within a couple days.

There are a few of us that are planning to do that whenever some people get their trucks finished.

I'm at least out till July I would say :( Then I still have to find a Manual T-case

I'm sure that it kinda sucks right now, but in the end it'll be a small price to pay because "The Monster" is looking BADA$$. ;)
BTW congrats to the wife, that's no small feat!

Did any one go?
Trail report?
carnage! (i know big bear is not that advanced but still)

How did it go I wish I coulda gone but motherd day and all

Kool I may go then will try to get some tires before then.
Nate

Alright, I'm back (sorry I've been busy with work). Anyways I would like to keep roughly the same plan, the question is do we want to run west to east or east to west?
Ritsui, are you still planing on only doing part of the overall day? If so then IMO we should start in BB, that way we can all start together, and don't have to try and work out a meeting place/time mid-day. So post if your going, which side you would like to start on, and what time you would like to meet. Then we can just go with the majority.

Truck is fine, so I'm good for the whole day as far as I know. If you're up early enough, we could have breakfast here in Arrowhead :)

You had originally talked about starting from Green Valley, right? IMO, that tends to be a better launch point for those coming up the 138, 173, 330 or 18 from SBD and it's also a nice, scenic "break in" trail for the stock crowd, but whatever you plan is good.

I'm in Lake Arrowhead, so I can meet anyone coming up from this side somewhere close to here, then continue on to wherever.
