Looks like the guy i bought my spindle lift from was slacking too much. He didn't claim my payment after 5 days. Looks like I have to cough up more money for a new spindle lift. Fenders are getting ordered tomorrow along with a new spindle lift and wheels 15x10 rockcrawlers.

With my lift what kind of backspacing would be used on 15x10's?

Why are you going with 10" wide rims? I would think the backspacing would be the same for 10's as 8's, if not maybe a little more. 3.75 or 4".

wider the better on sand

Ah, ok. Sand running. The "standard" aftermarket BS of 3.75 should be fine and shouldn't rub even with the 10" wide wheels since you're doing fenders.

Good lookin truck. 2wd or 4wd?

Boomin - You still planning on 35's?

Its gonna look sweet.

For all who doubted the existence of Lifted 2nd Gens in Hampton Roads. Here is the proof. This is some wheelin pictures in Corolla N.C.

I know there are atleast 3 -- now 5 if I count the pics that you've posted and Leetz. I was down in va beach for 1 day and saw 3 explorers. Now for my part of VA - there are none Not even with a body lift or TT. It's good to be the only one. Now boomin will have a rare one - a lifted mounty!

just bought some 15x8's so i wont need glass up front yet to clear 35's.

dominican is 4wd, he was over the other night helping me start on my SOA

actually there is my EXACT truck running around here on like 32's. Looks basic with like all-terrains though. My mounty will be 1 of a kind when im done (Full glass)

Atleast you can't get the plate RARE2C! What type of tires are you going to run again?

-Drew

if you shave the teeth on the ring gear, which is a lot easier to do than notching the pin, you just have to make sure you have a reasonable curve to the shape, but other than that, the gears sit deep enough in each other that shaving doesn't matter to much. our race ranger has 5.13 ring gear in an 8.8, and LOTS of tooth had to be shaved. no problems at all. pinion setting is the only real trouble inthe rear end.....

im gonna run 35x12.50 15's

Tires I have my choices down too are...

Goodyear MTR's
Pro Com X-terrains
Cooper Discover STT's (not sure if they come in 35)

Now if I find a good deal on some used thats a differnt story

I agree with 410 on the Pro Comps... I have them because they were on when I got it. Can't go wrong with BFG MT or GY MTR. Pricey but good tires. If you're going to keep 2wd I would also just get AT's. Just my choice though.
